Highlights

Compact construction

Due to their compact construction, our hose swivel joints can be universally used for hose lines that are regularly moved such as loading, filling, refuelling plants or mixing stations.

Direct installation

The hose swivel joints can be quickly and simply fitted directly into the hose.

Preventing areas of weakness

Since our hose swivel joints are directly integrated, the extra connector can be saved. So an additional interface is avoided.

Suitable for steam and hot water applications

Specifically designed for very high temperatures, the SDS series hose swivel joints are particularly suitable for steam and hot water applications.

Description

The swivel joint series with hose coupling as per EN 14423

The solution for the direct integration into a steam hose line

The SDL hose swivel joints are a torsion protection that is fitted directly in the steam hose – universally deployable for hose lines that are moved in regular intervals.

The swivel function of the SDS series is carried out similar to the compact DG series that can be used as adapter. It extends the RS programme, however, with the hose coupling connection format for direct integration of a steam hose line as per EN ISO 14423.

The SDS series hose swivel joints basically consist of two halves designed as bushing with male threaded connection and pin with the hose coupling. Thus they can be directly used instead of a male VSS series section fitting coupling.

Its use means that an additional fitting is no longer required. The resulting interface, which can form an additional wear point or a potential leak, is thus also eliminated.

Characteristics:

  • adjustable
  • easy to clean
  • easy to maintain
  • modular zu verwenden
  • compact construction
  • long lifetime
  • prevents hose torsion
  • reliable even at the lowest pressure
