Hose loading arm SGA

Flexible hoses are normally used to transfer liquids and gases between mobile tankers and fixed installations due to the flexibile positioning they provide. The weight of the full hose and its fittings can make handling difficult and lead to premature wear or failure.
The SGA hose loading arm provides a safe support and greatly facilitates hose manipulation while offering maximum security.

Characteristics

• The specially designed links of the SGA ensure that the hose cannot be bent beyond the safe minimum radius.
• Ground contact is prevented, prolonging hose life.
• As the weight of the hose is fully supported, one person can safely handle the coupling, loading and uncoupling procedure.
• The modular design with a range of optional components means that the SGA can be quickly adapted to different standard or user-specific hose lengths.
• The static seals at the hose ends are not subject to stress so that the maintenance load is reduced.
• The hose is kept in a horizontal position which can be adapted to provide a gradient if the hose is required to empty itself.
